A solo exhibition featuring the latest calligraphic painting artworks by Kazem Khorasani will open on January 15 in Los Angeles, USA, at the Hanieh Art Gallery.The exhibition will present about 25 artworks from Khorasani’s collection titled “The Persian Garden.” This body of artwork draws inspiration from Iranian cultural concepts and visual aesthetics, reflecting a contemporary interpretation of traditional calligraphic art.The exhibition offers an opportunity for international audiences to engage with contemporary Iranian calligraphic painting and experience its artistic depth in a global context.

New Educational Course Added to Khorasani Studio’s Training Section

Following strong interest and numerous requests from audiences, a new educational course titled “Easy Writing of Shekasteh Nasta‘liq Calligraphy with Calligraphy Marker”has been added to the training section of the Khorasani Studio website and is now available to learners.This course is designed as an online video program and includes more than 30 comprehensive lessons, covering topics from letter formation to sentence writing and composition. In addition, two complete PDF files featuring sample calligraphy images are provided to support practice and theoretical exercises.This educational course has been developed to facilitate learning Shekasteh Nasta‘liq calligraphy for students at different skill levels.

Fujairah International Calligraphy and Ornamentation Festival Concludes

The International Calligraphy and Ornamentation Festival, organized by the Fujairah School of Calligraphy and Ornamentation in the United Arab Emirates, was held successfully and concluded with its closing ceremony on December 13, 2025. The event welcomed a large number of artists from various countries, including Iran, and featured a wide range of works in calligraphy, calligraphic painting, and Islamic ornamentation. The high quality and diversity of the submitted works reflected a strong and competitive international atmosphere.In the Calligraphic Painting category, Kazem Khorasani was selected among the top artists of the festival, marking a notable achievement for Iranian art on the international stage.The Fujairah International Calligraphy and Ornamentation Festival aims to promote traditional Islamic arts and provide a platform for cultural exchange among artists from around the world.

Design and compilation of the book on the modern Kufic Training

For the several time in recent years, a solo exhibition of calligraphy-painting works by Dr. Kazem Khorasani, entitled “Oriental Romances,” will be held at Royal Noor Gallery, Dubai. The opening ceremony will take place on September 12 at 5:00 PM. The exhibition will remain open to the public until September 21, with visiting hours daily from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Royal Noor Gallery, one of Dubai’s active and renowned art centers, will host this international cultural event. This exhibition provides art enthusiasts with a valuable opportunity to view Dr. Khorasani’s distinguished artworks firsthand.

Design and compilation of the book on the Khorasani Kufic (Modern Kufic) Training

Following the continuous presence training that Dr. Kazem Khorasani had been conducting for several years in the field of Training and completion of Khorasani Kufic (Modern Kufic), the idea of publishing these trainings in the form of a comprehensive and coherent book was implemented, and after compiling and writing high-quality explanations and photos of the writing stages, a practical and comprehensive book was published.

“Eternal Whispers: Kazem Khorasani’s Second Solo Exhibition in Canada

For the second time in the past two years, a solo exhibition of modern calligraphy-painting artworks by Dr. Kazem Khorasani, titled “Eternal Whispers,” was held in Canada. The exhibition first opened on August 15, and cotinued to 17 in Vancouver, and was subsequently presented in the cities of Montreal and Toronto.

Hosted by Art Wevent Gallery, the exhibitions featured a selection of modern calligraphy-painting artworks drawn from several collections. The events received a positive response from art enthusiasts, including members of the Iranian community abroad.

The Fourth International Festival of Islamic Art and Architecture of Pakistan

The International Festival of Islamic Art and Architecture was held for the fourth consecutive year from February 21 to 25, 2025 in Lahore, Pakistan, with the participation of many international artists. Dr. Kazem Khorasani attended the festival at the official invitation of the festival to participate in a group exhibition of calligraphy works, present a conference on Islamic art and architecture, and hold a calligraphy workshop. It is worth noting that the winners of the “Ersika Festival” in Turkey were also present at the calligraphy exhibition of this festival.

Designing a raised stone inscription in four layers of the new Ershad building

In line with the extensive activities of “Khorasani Studio” in the field of urban arts and the design and implementation of large-scale elements, an order was approved by the Tehran Hosseiniyeh Ershad Institution to design a raised inscription, and after voting and approving the poems and sentences engraved in the inscription, its design was initiated and finalized.
This design was implemented in the form of a raised work with stone material and in four layers on the upper edge of the new Hosseiniyeh Ershad building (library) with a scale of 90 square meters.
