Modern Calligraphy

Modern Calligraphy is a type of trend in contemporary painting in which the artist uses the form of letters, writing, and numbers to create a mostly abstract visual work. It is not a postmodern approach, but a modern movement to emphasize the dimensions of calligraphic identity in contemporary art. It does not have a specific style and belongs more to an artistic movement. Considering the recent developments in the structural diversity of calligraphy, the contemporary letter-based movement can be defined as a combination of calligraphy/calligraphy (without the requirement of legibility) and diverse visual arrangements. With more than thirty years of activity in this field and the creation of more than 1,600 works of calligraphy, Kazem Khorasani has always been active in international arenas, and has also taught and taught modern Kufic calligraphy and calligraphy execution techniques.
